Business Planning for Social Enterprises and Community Organisations

Business Planning is essential to developing and sustaining an organisation in the voluntary, community or social enterprise sector. All social enterprise face the challenge of meeting financial and social targets and this training session will explore how to balance both aims by exploring the principals behind a strong, robust and viable business plan for community organisations and social enterprises.

 

The aim of this course is to help you:

  • Gain an understanding of business plan cycle
  • Define your customers and your needs
  • Identify your market
  • Introduce Business Planning tools such as S.W.O.T, Ansof’s Matrix and Business Plan Templates
  • Identify your strengths and development areas and understand the steps to reach your business aims
