The Women’s Business Development Agency, which was established 17 years ago, offers free and confidential advice on all aspects of starting and growing a business, and has advised over 1,000 women over the past couple of years, and delivered over 2,000 business advice sessions.

The organisation has a fully qualified, all-female team of Business Advisors who can advise on issues including business planning, sales and marketing, employing staff and financial matters.

We were described by Patricia Hewitt (then Secretary of State for Trade and Industry and Minister for Women 2005) as “the best women’s enterprise agency in the country”.
